Five Steps of the Lesson
全てに共通するファイブステップスレッスン
指導案はこのファイブステップスレッスンの流れに基づいて作成されています。
この内容を理解すると、効果的に指導案、ワークシートを活用することができます。
これは、諸外国の指導法を日本の小学校の現場に合う形でアダプトしたものです。
言語指導理論にも則っており、さらに学習の見通しが持てるのため、教員や、子ども、ALTにとってもわかりやすく、効果的な指導であると考えています。
"Five Steps of the Lesson"
1.WARM UP
Start class with daily routine.
2.PRESENTATION
Modeling: Teacher will show conversations with meaningful context.
Ex)
T1：What’s your best memory
T2：My best memory is about our school trip.
T1：I see. Nice.
T2：We enjoyed hiking. It was fun. How about you, what is the best memory of your school life
T1：My best memory is about
our Drama festival. I enjoyed acting. It was a wonderful experience.
T2：I see.
Student will understand SWBAT(Students Will Be Able To~).
3.PRACTICE
Students review vocabulary with picture cards.
Students will “listen and repeat” when they hear the term.
Practice key sentences in a context with a teacher, and practice conversations in paired activities. Share some new vocabularies
which students want to use in their conversations during class.
4.PRODUCTION (APPLICATION)
Students will express their own ideas, thoughts and feelings related to the topic using key sentences and sentences already learned.
Before starting personalized / interactive / creative activities in a class, the teacher need
to check student comprehension.
5.WRAP UP
Students review the lesson and write reflections in their worksheet.
Exit Ticket: Each student talk with teacher using that day’s key sentence when they submit the worksheet. The teacher gives encouragement and complements to build
student confidence. If the student struggle with the conversation, teachers provides support with target sentences.
Community
研修会の開催
英語教育に関する教員の自主研修会Kids Global Empowerment（ケージー）を月に一回程度、土曜または日曜の朝に開催しています。現在は、ZOOMを活用したオンライン研修会を行なっています。
特徴
本研修会は、小学校教員や、中学校・高等学校の英語科教員、公立学校に限らず、私立学校の先生も一緒になって活動しています。垣根を超えて、様々な視点から、英語教育について情報交換をするコミュニティです。ですから、都外からの参加も大歓迎です。お子様連れの参加も大歓迎です。また、本研究会は、駐日アメリカ大使館・国際教養大学による助成(2019,2020)、及び、一般財団法人 言語教育振興財団助成(2019-2020)を受けています。
メンバー
現在のメンバーは、文部科学省英語教育推進リーダー、東京都英語教育推進リーダー、小学校学級担任、英語専科、ALT、中学校・高等学校教員です。
英語の授業をどう進めたら良いのか悩まれている校内英語担当の先生方や学級担任の先生方、英語推進リーダー、中学校英語科教員、ALTがそれぞれの立場で情報交換しながら授業力向上を図り、日本の英語教育をアップデートしています。
